This shock-absorbing lanyard has been designed to meet the performance requirements of ANSI and OSHA in 1 unit. The BlackMAX™ shock-absorbing lanyard is designed to arrest falls in both Force level 1 and Force level 2 conditions. This eliminates the need for 2 styles of shock-absorbing lanyards for employees that may be exposed to both potential fall conditions throughout the workday. Features SteelHead® 3/4" opening Tie Back Hooks. Complies with the current ANSI Z359.1-2007 and all applicable OSHA regulations and requirements. Features include: Limits arresting force to less than 900 lbs. in a 6 feet freefall arrest. Limits arresting force to less than 1800 lbs. in falls greater that 6 feet. Lanyard elongation will not exceed 42 inches in freefalls between 6 and 12 feet. Double Shrink tubing to protect shock pack and labels. Black tubular web on 1 inch web version to protect TattleTale®, web. This allows for a double layer of inspectability. No exposed stitching for greater durability.
